Grab a foursome and some comfy lawn chairs and join us on Fridays, July 8 and August 12 from 5-8 pm at Park Hills Golf Course.  Enjoy the spectacular scenery and toe-tapping entertainment from local musicians. This event is for all ages, children are welcome and admission is free.  

The Krape Park Carousel, Boat Rentals and Mini-Golf are open weekends only through September 25th.  Weekend hours are Noon-6:00 pm however, the actual hours of operation are subject to staff availability and weather conditions. Click the raindrop on the Park District's website for real time updates on facilities and programs.    

The Park District is grateful for the skills of the Master Gardeners from the University of Illinois Extension for their ongoing care of the beautiful gardens in Krape Park.

One-stop convenience, wide walkways and a safer alternative to trekking up and down streets make the Trick-or-Treat Trail at Krape Park a family favorite. Join the fun on Saturday, October 29th from 3:00-5:00 pm. The trail begins by the carousel. Admission is free.

Beginning Monday, August 29th, the Burchard Avenue corridor through Read Park will be closed sporadically as the City makes improvements to the road. A CASCADE OF COLORS await you for your night drive through Krape Park. While the water is still on, the new waterfall lights will be on from 7:30 until 10 pm. This project was made possible with a generous donation to the Park District.
