Freeport Park District Names Berin Jackson as Superintendent of Parks and Natural Resources

The Freeport Park District is pleased to announce Berin Jackson will transition into the role of Superintendent of Parks and Natural Resources, effective February 3, 2025. Executive Director Bruce Cubberley shares, “We are eager to welcome Berin as the new Superintendent of Parks and Natural Resources. His experience in park management, dedication to community engagement, and passion for environmental stewardship make him the perfect leader to enhance and expand our parks system. We look forward to his leadership in creating vibrant, accessible, and sustainable green spaces for all to enjoy.”
