Public and staff safety measures are being implemented by Freeport Park District as COVID-19 cases continue to rise in our region. Effective November 10, 2020 the Administration Center located in Read Park will be open by appointment only until further notice. Parks remain open, but 6’ social distancing guidelines must be observed. Park patrons must refrain from congregating in groups of more than 10 people, continue to follow 6’ social distancing, and wear face protection when 6’ distancing is not possible.
Freeport Park District continues to follow and support guidelines and recommendations made by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Illinois Department of Public Health, and Stephenson County Health Department, and will continue to do so. We urge park patrons to observe the restrictions and recommendations conveyed by these authorities.
