This Saturday, June 13th is Family Health & Fitness Day. Why not enjoy the day in one of Freeport’s parks? Here are a few fun things you and your family can do.
KRAPE PARK
Mini-golf and boat rentals will be open in Krape Park this weekend.
Saturday & Sunday Hours: 11 am- 8 pm Mini-golf Rates: $4 adults and $3 kids
Paddleboat Rentals: $10 for 4-seats and $8 for 2-seats.
OAKDALE NATURE PRESERVE PARK
Travel just 5 minutes south of Freeport and you’ll discover a wooded wonderland. Oakdale Nature Preserve Park is family- friendly and the trails are easy to navigate. See if you can find the castle wood carving on the trail by the Mogle Center.
