SUMMARY:Read Park Cardboard Boat Regatta
DESCRIPTION:Set sail for a day of friendly competition and poolside fun! Participants (ages 8+) will compete in teams of two\, showcasing their creativity and boating skills as they race homemade\, decorated\, and designed boats across the water. All boats must be fully built prior to race day. \nAwards will be presented for speed\, creativity\, and team spirit! Standard admission for spectators and must sit in designated seating area. \nSwimming is not permitted for spectators. \nRegistration is by team\, and only one person per team is required to register. Once registration closes on July 10\, all teams will receive a list of rules and accepted materials. \nEvent check in will begin at 9am with races and awards to follow. Open swim will be available after the races. \nRegister by calling 815-235-6114 or online!

If your work is handmade\, we want to see it! This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase your art\, share your creative process through live booth demonstrations\, and engage directly with attendees. A $75 application fee is due at the time of registration.
